A grey hair appeared, and with it, every story I thought I’d buried.

Grey is a hybrid short film blending fiction, documentary, and experimental forms. The story examines the complex legacy of a non-Native ancestor and the ways inherited pain can echo through generations. With poetic visuals and internal reflection, Grey becomes an act of resistance, healing, and reclamation.

S.O.L., A documentary by Regina Simons

Overview:

S.O.L. is a poetic essay film exploring the limits of institutional justice and the volatile journey of healing from trauma. Interweaving spoken word, archival images, and personal storytelling, the film charts the psychological evolution from survival (freezing, fleeing, fighting) to reclaiming power and finding freedom.

S.O.L. is both personal and political. It breaks silence, exposes system failures, and reclaims power through storytelling.
